Smile Project
I was briefed to create a set of surface patterns based on things that make me smile. All of the designs I have made are hand drawn and cleaned up in photoshop. This project also gave me the opportunity to experiment with printmaking techniques like mono-print and linocut.

An illustration of one of my cats. This one is my favourite of my surface patterns because of its bold colours, this was also heavily inspired by Andy Warhol.
An experimental pattern I have created by exploring combining unusual themes and colour palette. This pattern was highly experimental and I don't think it was successful but I like to challenge myself to push boundaries and try new things.
More explorations of my favourite surface pattern design. My idea for this was to create some other designs with this pattern that could be used as a print.
